Nicky is a writer and artist.

Nicky is a contributing writer at the Cleveland Review of Books and an incoming Master’s student at NYU Gallatin pursuing an interdisciplinary degree in writing, film, and American studies.

As culture writer at the Texas Observer, Nicky wrote about film, art, books, Texan artists, and Texas history. Their criticism and reporting has appeared in the Brooklyn Rail, Texas Monthly, and Dissent.

They are a Sewanee Writers’ Conference and Brooklyn Poets alum and recently led a reading group at Wendy’s Subway.
